Enhanced verification for transactions
A transaction with enhanced verification is designed for a business that conducts telephone transactions (a transaction with a missing document) and wishes to avoid a situation in which the transaction is denied.
In such a scenario, a text message will be sent to the paying customer’s mobile device to verify that the cardholder is indeed making the payment.
The text message will contain a code that will be provided by the recipient to the business conducting the transaction.
This service is available at no cost for compatible terminals.
Those who attempted it discovered that it is not at all straightforward; one must purchase add-ons, interface with an API that does not always function, spend thousands of shekels, and more.
3DS Service
This service is intended to secure transactions on e-commerce websites and payment requests.
The cardholder will be required to input a verification code that they will receive on their phone at the time of the transaction as part of this service.
This ensures that the cardholder is carrying out the transaction.
This service is available for Visa, MasterCard, and dual cards (Diners and MasterCard).
The service incurs an additional fee of 0.30 Israeli Shekels per transaction.
